Rogers is 1-9 against Puyallup since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rams will look to defend their home field against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Rogers will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
Rogers' pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against South Kitsap as they made off with a 10-0 win. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by nine runs or more this season.

Sierra Murray made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Payton Walling was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run. Kelsey Vernon was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Rogers was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Kitsap only posted a batting average of .053.
Meanwhile, Puyallup didn't have quite enough to beat Sumner on Monday and fell 3-1. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
Puyallup saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jenny Tuivaiave, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
Rogers' victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Puyallup, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Rogers hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .327. However, it's not like Puyallup struggles in that department as they've averaged .350. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
