The Washington School for the Deaf Terriers will head out on the road to face off against the Pe Ell Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Washington School for the Deaf focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Washington School for the Deaf came up short against Columbia Adventist Academy and fell 49-39. Washington School for the Deaf has not had much luck with Columbia Adventist Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
The losing side was boosted by Kwabena White-Star, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Robinson, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Meanwhile, Pe Ell also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Willapa Valley by a score of 57-44.
Washington School for the Deaf has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Pe Ell, the last time they won on the road was back last Saturday. Having now lost four straight away contests, they've bumped their record down to 1-4.
Washington School for the Deaf was taken down by Pe Ell 66-32 when the teams last played back in January. Can Washington School for the Deaf avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
