Pickett was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with one  triple and one  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  he has  hit this season.
 Pickett wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Manny Alvarez, who  went 2-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI. That  RBI was  Alvarez's first of the season.
 South Albany's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-13. As for Woodburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
