Carver Posts Huge Game in 62-0 Win
Starting off the list is Kern Valley's Zane Carver, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Carver rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 62 yards and two touchdowns on only five passes. He is becoming a predictor of Kern Valley's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 0-3 when he doesn't).
Desert's probably not too fond of Carver given he always seems to get the better of them. When Carver last faced the Scorpions back in September of 2023, he rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 60 yards and a touchdown.

Bishop Union has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Sualez and Bishop Union will head out on the road to challenge California City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Emory Dondero Delivers Electric Performance Vs Boron
Keeping Sualez company is Emory Dondero, a fellow Bishop Union player. He threw for 226 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes. He has become a key player for Bishop Union: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

He is becoming a predictor of Rosamond's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
The victory got Rosamond back to even at 3-3. Flowers and Rosamond will square off against Kern Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
