Desert Hills has gone 9-1 against Snow Canyon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Thunder will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Desert Hills will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Desert Hills is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Crimson Cliffs, who was ranked 19th at the time (Desert Hills was ranked seventh). The Thunder walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mustangs two weeks ago.
Desert Hills was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 20-25, 28-26, 25-22.

Sam Spencer went supernova, getting 22 digs and eight aces. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high.
Spencer wasn't the only good servers: Desert Hills was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Snow Canyon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Pine View 3-2 on Tuesday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Snow Canyon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 21-25, 25-22, 25-23, 17-15.
Snow Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Desert Hills, their win bumped their record up to 19-8.
Everything went Desert Hills' way against Snow Canyon in their previous meeting back in September, as Desert Hills made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Thunder repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
