On Friday, Harker strolled past Mt. Pleasant with points to spare, taking the game 68-50.
It was another big night for Bowen Xia, who scored 22 points along with 9 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Advay Monga, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordon Flagg, who scored 19 points. Elias Gayley was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
The win got Harker back to even at 2-2. As for Mt. Pleasant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Harker's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Allowing an average of 62.5 points per game, Lincoln has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this matchup. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will head out on the road to face off against James Lick at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
