Baseball Recap: Brewbaker Tech Makes It Three in a Row at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Montgomery Catholic, Brewbaker Tech was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Hale County Wildcats get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Brewbaker Tech got a massive performance out of Chris Lewis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most runs Lewis has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Gage, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI and two runs.

Brewbaker Tech pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Hale County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Brewbaker Tech will take on Pike Road in a tournament on Wednesday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Hale County, they will face off against Brookwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
