The Lakeside Knights lost against the Kellogg Wildcats back in November of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lakeside fell just short of Kellogg by a score of 46-43. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lakeside in their matchups with Kellogg: they've now lost three in a row.
Kellogg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emily Coe, who scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds and 4 steals. Coe is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Stutzke, who scored 7 points along with 7 rebounds.
Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Kellogg, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeside will take on Clark Fork at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kellogg, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Stevensville at 7:00 p.m.
