Regis Jesuit's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Coryn Watts, who scored 17 points along with five assists and four steals. The game was Watts' ninth in a row with at least ten points. Hana Belibi was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Regis Jesuit pushed their record up to 8-5 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Chaparral, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.
Regis Jesuit will head out on the road to face off against Ponderosa at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ponderosa will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while Regis Jesuit is ranked 20th). As for Chaparral, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Castle View at 5:30 p.m. on January 16th.
