Leading Edgewood to victory were Alaina Preble and Shelby Preble. Preble scored 16 points along with 6 assists and 6 steals, while Preble scored 18 points along with 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Preble has scored at least 25% of Edgewood's points. Sophia Calero was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
The win got Edgewood back to even at 1-1. As for West Shore, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Edgewood will head out on the road to face off against Merritt Island Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. West Shore won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Titusville at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st.
