Classical Academy had won two straight games and Gavin Spiess did his part to make it three on Thursday. Classical Academy put the hurt on the Foothills Christian Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory thanks in part to Spiess, who had 21 digs. That's the most digs he has posted over his last ten contests.

Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Foothills Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Classical Academy will face off against Cathedral Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Foothills Christian, they will square off against Santa Fe Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Foothills Christian is facing Santa Fe Christian at the right time seeing as Santa Fe Christian is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
