After a string of three wins, Jonesville's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Homer Trojans. The Comets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Morgan Wood paced Jonesville's offense, picking up ten kills. Wood got some help from Jayda Rathbun and her nine assists. Rathbun was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Jonesville's defeat dropped their record down to 17-17-2. As for Homer, their win bumped their record up to 20-15-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jonesville is set to face off against their familiar foe Michigan Center at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Homer will challenge rival Manchester at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
