The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hempstead in their matchups with Anderson-Shiro: they've now lost three in a row.
JaMarion Mickles and Dontae Houston certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Mickles scored 20 points, while Houston scored 8 points along with 4 blocks. The matchup was Mickles' third in a row with at least ten points. Marlon Fisher was another key contributor, scoring 2 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
Hempstead now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Anderson-Shiro, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.
