There's no place like home for Ogden International, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They took down Senn 52-37 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ogden International also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Ogden International had a senior duo take command as Jazlyn Ortiz scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and five steals and Zydrea Childs dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Ortiz has scored at least a third of Ogden International's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maureen Shelton, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Ogden International's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. As for Senn, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Ogden International does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Senn won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Rickover Naval at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Rickover Naval is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
