If Edwardsburg wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Marshall, they should've done a better job of containing Addie Carden. The Redhawks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eddies on Thursday, sneaking past 2-1 thanks in part to Carden, who had 19 assists and five digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more assists the last four times she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Marshall and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for Edwardsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-1.

Marshall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Portage Central on the 4th. As for Edwardsburg, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Byron Center on the 4th.
