Larue County was led to victory by Landon Blakey and Daniel Allen. Blakey dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Allen scored 25 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Michael Harris, who scored 8 points along with 9 assists.
Larue County's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Collins, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Larue County will be playing in front of their home fans against Bullitt East at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Collins, they will head out on the road to face off against Beth Haven at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Beth Haven focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Thursday.
