After flying high against the Urbana University Illineks last Saturday, the Fisher Bunnies came back down to earth. Fisher took a hard 52-34 fall against Tremont on Monday. Fisher has not had much luck with Tremont recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Fisher still got an impressive performance from Melina Luyando, who scored 13 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Jenna Clemmons, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Fisher dropped their record down to 11-18 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Tremont, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.
Fisher will head out on the road to face off against Heyworth at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Illinois (Fisher is ranked 465th, while Heyworth is ranked 475th). As for Tremont, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fieldcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tremont has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
