Baseball Recap: New Milford Sets Scoring Season-High Against Park Ridge

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Milford). They blew past the Park Ridge Owls 14-3 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their two-run performance the game before.

Kyle Dunne was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Jesse Brophy was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

New Milford has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Park Ridge, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-12 record.
