Landrum and Union County's match on Monday was close at halftime, but Landrum turned on the heat in the second half with three goals. The Landrum Cardinals were the clear victor by a 6-3 margin over the Union County Yellowjackets. It was an even better day for Tristan Barker as he scored three goals for his team.

The win got Landrum back to even at 2-2. As for Union County, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
