The Rossview Hawks won the last time they faced the Northeast Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. Rossview really took it to Northeast for the full four quarters, racking up a 86-32 victory at home. That looming 86-32 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Rossview yet this season.
Landon Hankemeier was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds. The game was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Quamond Linsey was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven assists and five steals.
Rossview's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.6 points per game. As for Northeast, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Coincidentally, Rossview and Northeast will both be playing Kirkwood the next time they take the court. Northeast will host Kirkwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Rossview will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
