Hudson added to the longest winning streak in Northeast Ohio - Valley this week by beating Strongsville, 35-17. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.

Jared Ruffing was the best receiver in the league this week as Hudson topped the Mustangs. Ruffing racked up 5 receptions for 118 yards. Colton Whited helped Hudson's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 102 yards.
Ron Wright's team's Guadagni and Whited have formed a dream team this season, leading Northeast Ohio - Valley in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Guadagni has thrown for 1,459 yards this season, while Whited has 39 catches for 646 yards. Brunswick's Richie Norman leads the league in rushing yards with 662.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Cardinals and the Explorers. Mentor enters the game ranked 14th in the state, while Hudson ranks 11th.
Two of the top teams in the league will go toe-to-toe this week when Steve Trivisonno's team takes on the Explorers. The Cardinals' offense has scored 281 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Hudson has allowed only 79 on the year.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Mentor takes on the Explorers. The Cardinals have allowed 116 points this season, while Hudson has given up 79. Mentor allowed 0 points last week as it beat the Comets.
Strongsville made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,539 from 1,711. The improvement was the result of a 35-17 victory over Russ Jacques' team last week.
