Branford is a perfect 10-0 against Bronson since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Branford Buccaneers will head out to take on the Bronson Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Branford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
Branford will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against Crescent City on Friday. Branford was the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over Crescent City. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Buccaneers have posted since March 14, 2024.
Enalee Perry and Holston Frazier were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Perry struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Frazier kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. At bat, Perry scored a run while going 1-for-4, while Frazier scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Perry also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

In other batting news, Patrick Williams and Kyler Williamson did most of the damage at the plate: Williams scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Williamson went a perfect3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. The dominant performance also gave Williamson a new career-high in hits (three). Jackson Skinner was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, Bronson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of Riverside Christian.
Like Branford, Bronson also got a great game from a two-way player: E Holder. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Holder was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1.
In other batting news, Tristen ONeal was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Zach McClelland, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Bronson's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Branford, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.
Everything went Branford's way against Bronson in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Branford made off with a 9-0 victory. Does Branford have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bronson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
