In other batting news, Schuylkill Haven got a massive performance out of Aisley Jenan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most hits Jenan has posted since back in March. Octavia Houvig was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run and one double.
Schuylkill Haven's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Marian Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Marian Catholic has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .454.
