The Southeast Alamance Stallions will challenge the Seaforth Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southeast Alamance is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.
Southeast Alamance will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Chatham Central, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Stallions had just enough and edged out the Bears 8-7 on Wednesday. Eight seems to be a good number for the Stallions as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Tatum Shelton was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Ava Wheeley was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Anna Thomas, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Seaforth waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Jets by a score of 7-3.
Emma Grace Hill spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on three hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Annika Johansson was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Harris, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Southeast Alamance now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Seaforth, their record is now 13-6.
