Simi Valley had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Rio Mesa Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Pioneers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Simi Valley's got stronger as the match went on, holding Rio Mesa to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-22, 25-16.

Simi Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Rio Mesa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
