Clear Lake's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cody Hayes, who scored 24 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 blocks. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hayes has scored at least 25% of Clear Lake's points. Jake Soderquist was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
Contra Costa Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Clear Lake, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
