The Glasgow Dragons came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 69-68 win over Seaford. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Jahsir Robertson was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with five rebounds and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jasai Harris, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Seaford lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Vincent Evans, who shot 4-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten assists. Kashmier Wise was another key contributor, scoring 26 points along with six rebounds.
Glasgow's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Seaford, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glasgow will square off against Dickinson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Dickinson's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven contests. As for Seaford, they will head out on the road to challenge Delmar at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Seaford is coming into the matchup with 16 straight losses on the road, meaning Delmar will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
