The Richland Bears were the 55-22 winner over the Tuscumbia Lions when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The matchup between both teams wasn't particularly close, with Richland falling 61-45. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Benley Boggs continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Tuscumbia, scoring 25 points along with 8 rebounds. The match was Boggs' sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Damon Whittle, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 17 rebounds.
Richland's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tuscumbia, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.
Richland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tuscumbia's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Jamestown at 7:30 p.m. on December 11th. Jamestown comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
