After flying high against the Wahconah Regional Warriors last Saturday, the Agawam Brownies came back down to earth. Agawam took a 74-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Generals on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (61), Agawam still had to take the loss.
Pittsfield got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Malachi Perry out in front who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Perry has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Da'Sean Brown, who scored 15 points.
Agawam's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5. As for Pittsfield, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.
Agawam will be playing in front of their home fans against the Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Taconic is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Pittsfield, they will challenge the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
