After two games on the road, Coolidge is heading back home. They will take on the Show Low Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Coolidge's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Coolidge has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 25 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 88-28 victory over Bourgade Catholic on the road.
Coolidge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ja'kwan Jordan, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. The matchup was Jordan's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Thomas Nelson Jr. was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 9 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Show Low had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 65-42 margin over Chino Valley.
Preston Power was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Cameron Wallentine, who scored 13 points.
Coolidge's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Show Low, they have yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 3-0 record.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Coolidge hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 70.2 points per game. It's a different story for Show Low, though, as they've been averaging only 61.7 per game.
