The Meadow Bridge Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 62-43 victory over Liberty. The victory was some much needed relief for Meadow Bridge as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Kierston Rozell was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with two steals and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Charity Reichard was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Meadow Bridge's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Liberty, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meadow Bridge won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Man at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Man is coming into the matchup with four straight losses at home, meaning Meadow Bridge will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for Liberty, they will head out on the road to take on Independence at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Independence will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Liberty surely won't give up without a fight.
