The Reseda Regents will challenge the Van Nuys Wolves at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Reseda's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Grant as they made off with a 32-0 win. The Regents have beaten the Lancers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lancers has come to flipping the script.

ARIEL PUENTE made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. PUENTE was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Reseda has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .656. However, it's not like Van Nuys struggles in that department as they've averaged .531. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Reseda couldn't quite finish off Van Nuys in their previous matchup back in April and fell 15-13. Will the Regents have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
