Wood River waltzed into their game  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Burley Bobcats. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

 Wood River found their leader in underclassman  Paityn Nelson, who  had 16  digs. With that strong performance,  Nelson is now averaging an impressive 11  digs per game.
 Wood River is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record  this season. As for Burley, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 13 of their last 16 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record  this season.
 Wood River will square off against Twin Falls at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Burley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
