Brianna Barrix was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since April 1st. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one run.
