With a playoff win on the line, Minster rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past the Ridgemont Golden Gophers, posting a 67-35 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Minster and bumps their season record up to 16-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Ridgemont, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-6.

Looking ahead, Minster will challenge St. John's at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in St. John's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine games. Ridgemont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
