Lake View is 8-0 against the Silver Foxes since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Lake View Wild Gators will be playing at home against the Lamar Silver Foxes at 6:15 p.m. Lake View will be looking to keep their 17-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Lake View stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Green Sea Floyds 46-16 on the road. The squad ran away with 35 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
It was another big night for Gwendasia Page, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaleya Ford, who scored eight points along with five steals and five blocks.
Meanwhile, Lamar's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 38-22 fall against Latta. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lamar in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost eight in a row.
Lake View's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Lamar, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Lake View against the Silver Foxes when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 52-10 victory. Will Lake View repeat their success, or do the Silver Foxes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
