The Immokalee Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Cypress Lake Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Immokalee is hoping to put an end to an 11-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Immokalee played against Gulf Coast and lost via forfeit.
Cypress Lake unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 55-54 to LaBelle.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Bri Madore, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Those five assists set a new season-high mark for her. Kylie Anderson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Immokalee's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Cypress Lake, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-1.
Immokalee came up short against Cypress Lake in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 36-31. Can Immokalee avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
