Hillsborough scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 66-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lennard Longhorns. The Terriers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Longhorns apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2015.

Richard Sykes continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lennard, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. Sykes' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Nate Montalvo was another key player, putting up 15 points and eight boards.

Hillsborough's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Lennard, they moved to 7-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsborough will take on Gaither at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gaither is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61 points per game this season. Lennard has already played their next match (against King), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
