The North Eugene Highlanders can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They blew past Ashland 72-49. The victory was nothing new for North Eugene as they're now sitting on five straight.
North Eugene got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was India Mohiuddin out in front who scored 12 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Mohiuddin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jonas Spencer, who scored nine points along with five assists and two steals.
North Eugene pushed their record up to 14-2 with that victory, which was their 13th straight at home. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 21.77 points. As for Ashland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Eugene will challenge Churchill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Churchill is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. Ashland will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Henley at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
