Chicago Hope Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a 59-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Latin. Chicago Hope Academy has struggled against Latin recently, as their match on Wednesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Chicago Hope Academy had strong showings from Amoria Allen, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, and Nariyah Head, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Head has scored all season. Another player making a difference was London Davis, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Chicago Hope Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Latin, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-8.
Chicago Hope Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bishop McNamara at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Bishop McNamara is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. As for Latin, they will take on Lake Forest Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
