Clinton Christian Academy came out on top against El Dorado Christian by a score of 32-23. The win made it back-to-back wins for Clinton Christian Academy.
Clinton Christian Academy was led to victory by Clara Hyke and Audrey Foster. Hyke scored seven points along with 11 rebounds, while Foster scored seven points along with ten rebounds and two steals. Hyke hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Carissa Compton, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
El Dorado Christian's loss came despite strong showings from McKenzie Cole and Breann Reasoner. Cole scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Reasoner scored six points along with ten rebounds. Reasoner has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last nine times she's played.
Clinton Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for El Dorado Christian, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Clinton Christian Academy and Heartland will face off at 5:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for El Dorado Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
