Upper Cape Cod RVT moved up to 226 from 252 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mayflower - Small. The Rams were able to make the jump by beating Diman RVT 14-13.
Holbrook/Avon took down St. Joseph Prep 35-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Old Colony RVT's dynamic duo of Jacob Pringle and Flynn Stevens proved tough for New Mission to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Pringle threw for 236 yards and two touchdowns and Stevens had 64 yards receiving. Kevin Blaise helped Old Colony RVT's passing attack out by catching two balls for 58 yards.
Jonathan Dumont was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 26 carries, he ran for 221 yards as Upper Cape Cod RVT topped the Titans. Dylan Derby also contributed to the rushing game with 20 yards on the ground.
Old Colony RVT's Pringle and Blaise have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Pringle has thrown for 504 yards this season, while Blaise, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has five catches for 159 yards. Dumont from Mike Hernon's team leads the league in rushing with 529 yards.
A big matchup in Mayflower - Small this week will be when the Bulldogs take on West Bridgewater. As it stands, Holbrook/Avon is in second, while the Wildcats are in fourth.
The Rams and the Bengals played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with the Rams eventually emerging with a 14-13 victory. Dumont in the win.
