Orangeburg Prep has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Dorchester Academy Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Orangeburg Prep is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in South Carolina (they are ranked 17th, while Dorchester Academy is ranked 188th).
Last Friday, Orangeburg Prep earned a 43-35 victory over Palmetto Christian Academy.
Meanwhile, Dorchester Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. Their rough 59-34 loss to Cathedral Academy might stick with them for a while.
Orangeburg Prep's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0. As for Dorchester Academy, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Everything came up roses for Orangeburg Prep against Dorchester Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 53-24 victory. Will Orangeburg Prep repeat their success, or does Dorchester Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
