If the Woodmore Wildcats were riding high off their 48-26 takedown of the Lake Flyers last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Woodmore was dealt a 54-23 defeat at the hands of Gibsonburg on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Woodmore has scored all season.

The matchup was Evarts' ninth in a row with at least ten points. Leah Hall was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Woodmore's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Gibsonburg, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodmore's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hopewell-Loudon at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th. Hopewell-Loudon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Gibsonburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Port Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Port Clinton is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
