Folsom had won four straight on the road, but on Monday they bumped up to 21-8 to make it five. Everything went their way against the St. Francis Troubadours as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.
Leading Folsom to victory were Khloe Wong and Megan Munson. Wong had 16 digs and five assists, while Munson had five aces. That's the most aces Munson has posted since back in October of 2024.
They weren't the only good servers: Folsom was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in six consecutive contests.
As for St. Francis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-6. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 21-3 Rocklin (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 80% over those games).
