There's no place like home for the Parkway West Longhorns, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 50-41 win over Parkway South on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Parkway West also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braden Eye, who scored 12 points. Eddie Ahearn was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
Parkway West now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Parkway South, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Parkway West will head out on the road to face off against University City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parkway South, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Gateway Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Gateway Science Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
