The Jackson Aggies entered their tilt with the Blount Leopards with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. Jackson walked away with a 51-41 win over the Leopards on Tuesday. For Jackson, this counts as revenge for the 60-59 defeat the Leopards walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Jackson found their leader in underclassman Keeyun Chapman, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Chapman has been hot recently, having posted three or more blocks the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Micah Caster, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
Jackson's win was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Blount, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.
Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Blount also has no future games currently scheduled.
