Hamilton grew its lead to nine points entering the fourth quarter. HHS scored once in the quarter on a rushing touchdown.
The Lions were ahead by as much as 15 before the Hornets pulled closer.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which Kennedy took, 40-10.
The win was a nice bounce back for Hamilton, which lost to Coffeeville last week, 34-0.
