Basketball Recap: Juab Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

If Delta wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Juab, they should've done a better job of containing Trent Baker. Everything went the Juab Wasps' way against the Delta Rabbits on Wednesday as the Juab Wasps made off with a 67-47 win thanks in part to Baker, who went 6 of 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points and five boards. Those 21 points gave him a new career-high.

Delta's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brody Cleaver, who posted ten points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaytn Brough, who had eight points and eight boards.

Juab's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-5. As for Delta, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-9.

Juab has already played their next matchup, a 45-37 loss against Richfield on the 31st. As for Delta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 46-35 defeat against Canyon View on the 31st.
