Riverside won the last time they faced Geneva and things went their way on Monday too. The Riverside Beavers came out on top against the Geneva Eagles by a score of 64-54. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Beavers.

Riverside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ashton Montgomery led the charge by going 7 of 9 on his way to 14 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Durkin, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 18 points.

Riverside's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3. As for Geneva, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Riverside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 77-53 win against Collinwood on the 4th. As for Geneva, they will face off against Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on January 7th.
